“More than a career… a calling.”

A mentor once told me that sometimes you choose a profession, and sometimes it chooses you.

Education with an entertaining flair chose me over 20 years ago. I’ve spent my career helping college students achieve their hopes and dreams. Early on, I also realized I had a knack for transforming my work environment. As a leader among leaders, my commitment is to improve any community I am a part of. Now, I want to share how to be a positive force with others.

But wait…there’s more. Like a Marvel Comics superhero (or DC if you prefer), I was bitten by the comedy bug ten years ago. What started as a fun hobby has become one of my life’s passions. What makes me different from any other speaker you’ve seen is my ability to blend learning and laughter.

When I am not at a community event in my role as Director of Equity and Engagement with The City of Minneapolis, you can find me in a rural town performing stand-up. For fun, I write and deliver keynote speeches, design and facilitate workshops, and work as a consultant. Yes, this is FUN for me!
